The Alliance has worked for nearly ten years in countries around the world including Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain, Scotland, The Netherlands, Sweden, France, Jordan, Columbia, and others. The Alliance has hosted site visitors in San Diego from more than seventy countries. Today, there are operating or developing Family Justice Center models in Canada, Mexico, Great Britain, The Netherlands, Sweden, South Africa, Scotland, New Zealand, Australia, Jordan, and many other countries. The Alliance has published books in English, Arabic, and Spanish to assist communities seeking to develop Centers around the world.
The largest international initiative was undertaken by the Mexican government in 2010. With the support of USAID, the Avon Foundation for Women, and other funders, the Alliance is currently supporting more than twenty developing and operating Centers (Centros de Justicia para las Mujeres) in Mexico.
The Alliance hosts international site visitors each year at its International Family Justice Center Conference and can schedule specialized institutes for teams from other countries before, during, or after the annual conference.
