VOICES is a national advocacy committee of survivors of domestic violence who have received services at a Family Justice Center. VOICES began in San Diego through the services provided at the San Diego Family Justice Center between 2002-2007. Chaired by Jearl O'Neal, VOICES is developing an outreach effort to create a nationwide group of survivors to support the Family Justice Center movement, assist communities developing new Centers, and support existing Family Justice Centers. During 2008, VOICES will develop communication protocols, opportunities for public speaking and advocacy, and a strategic plan for development of the committee.
