There are currently five levels of membership within the Alliance, as outlined below. Please review the following to determine which level best identifies your current situation:

Level One – Fully operational Family Justice Center (Founding Member)
- Meets all the fundamental elements of a FJC described below
- Operational for two or more years
Level Two - Operational Family Justice Center
- Meets most of the fundamental elements of a FJC
- Open less than two years, 5 days per week
Level Three – Developing Family Justice Center
- Committed to creating a FJC.
- Formal strategic planning process has started
- Set timelines for co-locating partners/services
Level Four – Interested Organization or Individual
- Seeking information or buy-in from the Community to open a FJC
- Conducting a feasibility study or community readiness assessment
Level Five – Friend of the Alliance
- Supports the work of the FJC Alliance

Members who operate a Family Justice Center either full or part-time or anticipate starting a Family Justice Center pledge to support the following National Standards:

Seek to demonstrate that their service delivery model reduces the number of places victims must go to receive needed government-based and private, non-profit agency services.
Seek to marshal all available resources in a community into a coordinated, centralized service delivery system with accountability to victims and survivors for the effectiveness of the model.
Seek to provide diverse, culturally competent services to victims and their children.
Not seek to replace existing, independent non-profit social service organizations, or community-based domestic violence programs in a community, but to facilitate effective and efficient co-located services to victims and their children using staff members from existing government and community-based organizations.
Not charge agencies for access to office space in the available Family Justice Center space though Centers may apportion certain charges for Internet access, supplies, parking, or other potential shared expenses such as utilities and maintenance for the operation of the Center (unless agreed to by all parties as part of a coordinated grant-funded initiative)
Seek, as appropriate, to provide services to victims of child abuse, sexual assault, dating violence, teen relationship violence, elder abuse, and stalking as well as domestic violence victims through cooperative relationships with local child abuse, sexual assault, and stalking service providers.
Provide core law enforcement services including the presence of full-time, specialized police officers, prosecutors, and government agency-based advocates to handle misdemeanor and felony domestic violence cases.
Include a governance model that facilitates community collaboration and shared decision-making related to day to day policies and service delivery philosophy
Include private, non-profit, community-based agency personnel with specialized domestic violence advocacy training and experience.
