GREENSBORO, N.C. —
More than a hundred men signed the Men For Change pledge to end domestic violence at a public ceremony in Greensboro on Thursday morning.
The event was part of the Guilford County Family Justice Center’s second anniversary celebration and organizers decided on concentrate on what men can do to end domestic violence.
“Today with so many different types of people represented,” said Katherine Johnson, director of the Family Justice Center. “It was really just wonderful to see so many people willing to take the pledge and take an action step in reducing domestic violence in our city.”
The Family Justice Center partners with local law enforcement and social services to provide care for victims of domestic violence and educate the community on the characteristics of domestic violence.
