Diane Lance and Becky Bullard from Nashville will discuss how to handle firearms in domestic violence situations, initiatives to dispose of firearms, dispossession procedures, and flagging programs, including barriers and strategies. Kim Garrett and Bob Troester from Oklahoma will cover their initiative that brings together law enforcement and prosecutors to use the power of federal prosecution to address particularly violent domestic abusers who use firearms in the abuse of their victims, focusing on how to hold domestic abusers accountable and safely remove their guns.
