FreeFrom’s Survivor Safety Banking Guidelines

With support from the Blue Shield of California Foundation, FreeFrom created a set of banking guidelines and best practices that would transform survivors' ability to bank safely and keep their money secure. The guidelines have incorporated the experiences and advice of more than 1,300 survivors, along with knowledge from banking experts around the world. Building upon the efforts banks have already made to support customers experiencing elder financial abuse, these guidelines are structured to help banks easily adopt policies to support survivors.
