Pathways to HOPE Project An Assessment of Sustainable HOPE and Resilience Among Children Exposed to Domestic Violence

This report provides the results of a program evaluation for Camp HOPE America’s Pathways to HOPE Project. Camp HOPE America, the first camp in the country focused on children exposed to domestic violence, is a program of Alliance for HOPE International. The Pathways to HOPE Project is a mentoring program focused on providing year-round activities for children from Imperial and San Diego County after they return from camp. Camp HOPE America has published research on increases in Hope and Resilience after a week of camp. This evaluation examined whether or not increases in a child’s Hope and Resilience from Camp HOPE America could be sustained relative to year-round mentoring and STEAM activities.
