Senior Victim Services Coordinator Job Number MA- T11183-201805 Closing date and time - 5/14/2018 at 5:00 PM Pacific Time (US & Canada); Tijuana JOB INFORMATION The Senior Victim Services Coordinator positions will be responsible for day-to-day services provided to Family Justice Center (FJC) clients and volunteers; shall report directly to the FJC Operations Manager; participate on the FJC client services High Risk Team and attend the San Diego Domestic Violence Council meetings. Senior Victim Services Coordinator positions conduct client evaluations, risk assessments, manage, oversee and develop the client intake process; provide crisis intervention, crisis management and direct service referrals; develop safety plans and conduct comprehensive needs assessments; manage and maintain confidential victim and volunteer records and information; supervise, train and evaluate all Needs Assessment Specialists, volunteers and staff; act as an advocate for domestic violence victims during contact with prosecutors, law enforcement, the courts and other related agencies; accompany victims and witnesses testifying in court proceedings and provide overall support to victims and Victim Services Coordinator team; identify and create volunteer opportunities; create and maintain FJC volunteer manual, training requirements and volunteer database; ensure proper screening and selection of all volunteers; coordinate and facilitate new staff and volunteer trainings; provide outreach, education materials and presentations to various community groups, schools and other organizations; attend community partner, city, county and stakeholder/advisory board meetings as the FJC liaison; identify and respond to grant opportunities and other funding sources for victim services programs; manage volunteer statistical data and annual reporting; oversee all volunteer activities; and perform other duties as assigned.
