The FJCA also provides ongoing services to strengthen and expand Centers. These services include teambuilding exercises, board development, funding and sustainability planning, capacity building, and much more.
We recommend that every Center conduct a Family Justice Center Snapshot Evaluation a year after opening and every 3-5 years thereafter. The Snapshot is an evaluation tool, with weighted scoring mechanisms, designed to evaluate the operational effectiveness of a Center and identify needed areas of improvement. The FJCA team conducts the Snapshot during a three-day site visit which produces a comprehensive report with recommendations. These recommendations are critical to the continued growth of the Center and include tangible steps to address any significant issues or strengthen the collaborative model.
